“I had the opportunity to use both the 2.8/12 and 1.8/32 lenses during the past two weeks. After shooting nearly a thousand images and processing over 200 in the latest version of Lightroom 4.4, I have a pretty good feel for the lens’ characteristics. They both exhibit the typical image quality you’ve seen from our SLR lenses, very good flare control, excellent color saturation, high contrast and superb detail out to the edges (though as a user of the Zeiss ZE & ZF.2 manual focus lenses for the last 7 years, I have to admit the AF took a little getting used to 🙂 Here are a selection of images taken in Death Valley and during the cherry blossom festival at Newark’s Branch Brook Park.”
